I hope you enjoyed the lovely weather this Sunday! We are busy in preparation for our science fair next week. Thank you for brining in a color trifold science fair board by this Friday. The science fair will be next Wednesday, March 7th. Students will bring their boards home on Thursday to share with families who may not be able to attend.
Friday, March 9th of our science fair week we will travel to the San Jose Tech Museum. Students will participate in a rollercoasters lab to continue to test the principles of force and motion they learned in their science writing unit. If you are interested in driving, please email me at [email protected]. Thank you for turning in your permission slip by Friday to Sharon with the $12 fee in cash (Fee pays for lab and museum admission). Please note, due to the 9:00 a.m. lab, students will need to arrive at school at 7:45 a.m. We will be unable to wait for late students.
In this week’s folder there is a spring book order form. The spring book order is a wonderful opportunity to stock up on new books for home while providing resources for our classroom library. Book orders are due on Friday, March 2nd. You can order online with the button below or send in the form on Friday.
Finally, as we approach the final third of the school year, our classroom is in need of some supplies to finish off our school year. I am looking for donations of fine tip black expo markers, #2 pencils, cleaning wipes, and glue sticks. Any donations you may be interested in giving would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again for your continued support. I hope you have an excellent week!
From,
Libby
